These pieces were created by Sophie Woodrow. They all appear to be animals with human-like qualities. I assume they were created through coiling methods and then details were added on and certain areas were carved away. It is also apparent that all of these figures are hollow A white glaze was added for a simplified and peaceful theme.
This piece was made by Hara Kiyoshi. The ceramic piece has a rounded triangular top. The glazes appear to be layered and possibly dipped several times. The rim of the bowl has a gritty, brown appearance. The rest of the bowl is a robin's egg blue that is nearly white at its base. It appears to have been thrown on the wheel for its incredibly smooth sides.
